How to get to Devon Guild:

Open: We are open 7 days a week, 10am - 5.30pm (The Terrace café closes at 5pm between November and February.)  There is free admission to all facilities. Riverside Mill is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day (& from 3pm Christmas Eve). 

 

Parking: Two pay and display car parks are situated very close to the Devon Guild; on Station Road (where the Tourist Information kiosk is sited) and on Le Molay-Littry Way (which has level access to the shoppers car park across a small footbridge). Both these car parks are free on Sundays and after 6pm. There is one hour free parking for anyone to use in the Co-op car park located next to Riverside Mill. However there is no pay and display facility in this car park if you wish to stay longer. Blue Badge holders displaying a valid badge will not be ticketed in any of the spaces in the Co-op car park. There is a dedicated parking space for blue Badge holders alongside our main gallery building wall and a parking space for gallery and shop deliveries. If you are making a delivery that might take longer than an hour to load/unload please speak to a member of Devon Guild staff. 
 

By public transport: The nearest train station is at Newton Abbot (7 miles away).  Train times can be checked with National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 or www.nationalrail.co.uk The number 39 bus runs to Bovey Tracey from Exeter and Newton Abbot.  Bus times can be checked with Traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or www.travelinesw.com

 

Directions: The Devon Guild is situated beside the River Bovey in the Riverside Mill, at the lower end of Bovey Tracey town centre.  Bovey Tracey itself is just 15 miles south west of Exeter, approximately 2 miles off the A38 Expressway to Plymouth.  After leaving the A38 at the Bovey Tracey exit, follow directions to the town centre (there are also brown tourist signs).  GO TO MAP

 


Access

All public areas are easily accessible throughout our building. We are fully accessible to wheelchairs, people with limited mobility and babies.

The building has a large lift, ramps and disabled parking by the side entrance for badge permit holders and there is also ramped access from the Le Molay-Littry Way car park to the Devon Guild.


There is a flat entranceway to the side of the building, toilet facilities for disabled visitors on the ground floor, a lift to the first floor café and wide, level aisles throughout.  Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.

We are a cycle friendly venue.  We have two Wall Anchors installed in our courtyard where bicycles can be chained.  Two cable locks also available, which can be borrowed for the duration of your visit, and we have a bike maintenance kit available for emergency repairs.
