Jamie Inglis jewellery demo_DGC

Jamie will be making a replica of the unique cylindrical tin bead that is likely to have formed the centrepiece of a Bronze Age necklace found found at the Whitehorse Hill archaeological site on Dartmoor in 2011.  As far as is possible, he will be using tools and techniques available to the craftsmen of the period. The bead is a rare surviving example of the working of tin in prehistoric Britain and Jamie will bring additional information about the dig to his demonstration.

Free, drop in. 10am-4pm (break for lunch)

Call 01626 832223 for more details.  Free, drop-in, no need to book.
