Description:
Gwen designs and makes one-off textiles, including hanging-cloths and panels using natural fabrics and shawls, head-squares and neck-scarves of georgette, habitai silk and Crêpe de Chine. She uses wax, clay and tie-resist techniques, with fast dyes which are safe to hand-wash. She has shown her work regularly in our exhibitions since 1965. Commission enquiries through the Devon Guild are welcome.
