	Description:	Davids effectively decorated pots show the influence of his early training as a painter. He works in red eartherware clay which he fires to 1110 degrees centigrade. He has long been known for his "Mouse" series, an extensive range of domestic ware with applied decoration. More recently he has been making large hand-modelled animals in the Staffordshire tradition and reminiscent of the style of 18th century creamware.
