Description: |
Elizabeth graduated in Ceramics, stonecarving and sculpture and followed a career lecturing in ceramics, art and theatre design in London, Kent and Devon. During a University ceramic artists residency in Muscat she drew inspiration from the handicrafts, architecture, land and seascapes of Oman to develop decorative sculptural pieces in translucent bone china. The freshness of the pure white clay and the technical challenges it poses set Elizabeth on a new path which she continues to follow today. Elizabeth is a founder member of the Westcountry Potters Association and a professional member of the Craft Potters Association. |
