Yuli works with locally sourced wool, often combining flax or unusual and handspun yarns for texture and pattern. Her scarves concertina and fold to the curves; reminiscent of a magnified woven fabric. Feet Felt is her unique and quirky approach to making felt, available as a kit for schools and individuals. In her Dartmoor workshop she makes a range of domestic felt products from bags to tea cosies. She also makes the Leafshroud (felt coffin) to order, for natural burial – a soft, comforting and ecological alternative to conventional coffins.
