	Description:	From an exploration of materials, processes and structural forms through to designs which comment on more theoretical issues, my work is constantly evolving; yet it remains centred upon a deeper understanding of subject-object engagement and how these objects behave in and inhabit a certain environment. Although fully functional, I aim to produce pieces that invite the observer to engage with them on a variety of levels. Although I specialize in furniture design I have designed a variety of products including lighting and modular fencing which helps to maintain a fresh approach to the furniture I design. Andrew has a BA (hons) in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship (first class) and an MA in Furniture Design and Technology.
