Jonathan is a Plymouth based contemporary interior and furniture designer and furniture maker. In 2005 he established Tandem following years of freelance work and teaching at the Furniture & Interior Design Course, University of Plymouth. All his work is informed by his concern of creating furniture and interiors that are durable, healthy and have a low environmental impact. His designs reflect the inherent nature of materials, are free of any applied styling or ornaments and are therefore durable and of timeless quality. Jonathan's creativity and strong design skills are combined with knowledge and understanding of space and environment owing to his architectural background. His membership of The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is proof of his high quality making skills. His work has been exhibited and sold across the UK and abroad.
