	Description:	Robert has been in practice since 1994 and works internationally, developing large scale sculpture and furniture for the private and public sector, working closely with the client and design team. His furniture is commissioned by private, corporate, public and manufacturing clients. His work spans a variety of projects ranging from threshold sculptures, gates & railings, public seating and interior furniture using a language of repeated line constructions applying common components to create 3 dimensional symmetric and abstract structures. The aim is to create work with a sensitive response to its surrounding environment and to fulfil functional demands. Natural materials and finishes such as solid timber and stainless steel are utilised for their qualities of strength and durability as well as their power to reflect and absorb light emphasising the structure and beauty of the design.
