	Description:	A life-long fashion designer, Hilary retrained in the late 1980s and has designed feminine and functional knitwear since 1990. She runs her own ladies fashion shop in Lyme Regis, which also serves as the primary outlet for her designs. She works with natural fibres, placing fabric texture, fit and functionality at the core of her design work. Her knitwear is hand framed by highly skilled knitters in the UK, which has the advantage of allowing her to meet customer requests for special orders. In fact, special and repeat orders for favourite garments from individual customers make up a fair percentage of her overall production. Many of her designs can be found at the Riverside Mill as well as a selection of galleries throughout the South West.
