	Description:	Karina designs and makes beautiful etched metal bowls. Working in silver, steel, copper and brass she heavily textures the metal, using acid etching and surface patination. The bowls are made from a single sheet of metal and are hammered and manipulated by hand into place to create the final and geometric form. Her work has been influenced by colour, texture and repetition. She enjoys creating warm decorative items from cold hard sheet metal. Karina has exhibited her individual work widely and is currently working on a much larger scale, experimenting with sculptural bowls for the garden.
