To discover artworks that provoke and explain how I feel and what I think is significant; but to find that practicing within this field, as an artist, I can express what I wish to convey coherently is extraordinary. I use drawing as a tool to record, describe and to express myself. Such a primal discipline comes very naturally to me and it is undeniably the most vital skill I have. By using drawing as a foundation to my work, I thrive on the extensive opportunities it creates. As my work matures I adopt a more three-dimensional approach, often working within the realms of textiles. Throughout higher education, the exposure to copious practices has allowed me to become more experimental than ever, and the responses from my work have enabled both myself and my work to flourish. |
