Jane studied at Dartington College of Arts, and Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. She sees her stitched textiles as sculpture; the layering creates depth through cutting into surfaces, playing with space, texture and form. A fascination with variety in nature, exemplified through the making of butterflies and dragonflies or metamorphosing plants into paper and papyrus also absorbs Jane in processes of discovery.  Commission enquiries, workshops, talks and residencies through the Devon Guild are welcome.
