Ursula makes patchwork quilts for beds and wallhangings, machine-pieced and hand-quilted, usually in cotton fabrics. She uses traditional patchwork designs and likes to achieve the soft, draping, quality of a quilt which is to be used rather than framed and "untouchable". She is past-Chairman of the Trustees of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and has shown her work at our exhibitions.
