Landscape photography enables my fascination for the natural world and my passion for the arts to come together in a creative form. I am inspired by the earth’s natural elements and endeavour to capture images that portray nature’s delicate and intricate patterns in a real and believable way. To show natural and wild places as I have experienced them, in the hope my pictures may give the observer a sense of well-being and pleasure when viewed, as I receive from observing the natural world first-hand.

Through my photography I endeavour to capture nature's constantly evolving landscapes, and attempt to offer a true sense of connection with the natural world and to inspire more awareness of the natural environment that we all depend upon.

The main elements I try to capture in my images are light, composition, and natural beauty; light which is key to any image giving life and depth to the work, providing a sense of emotion from within the image, composition which provides structure and form allowing the observer to move with ease through the picture, and as for natural beauty, personally I am endeavouring to capture an image that encompasses a moment of nature's timeless beauty. A picture, I believe, should be able to communicate its message and emotion, without explanation, for it to be truly successful.
