Since graduating with first class honours in Creative Arts at Bath, Liz has worked alost exclusively with felt. She uses Merino wool and silk fibres to create scarves and other soft, delicate luxury items to wear. Although influenced by research in Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Norway, her design ideas, interpretation, and style of felting and nevertheless very personal. Enquires are invited for commissions in felt on any scale. During 2005 Liz was the recipient of a Crafts Council Development Award and also received Arts Council funding for Chelsea Crafts Fair. Her work featured in the 2005 autumn haute couture collection of Givenchy, Paris. |
