Description: My aim is to create textiles that are equally attractive to the hand as to the eye. This involves exploring the interaction of texture, colour and fabric structure and I enjoy manipulating the structure of the cloth to create an almost 3D effect. The manipulation of loose threads to create a beautiful hand woven fabric is fascinating and in itself inspiring, with the yarn itself often offering its own design ideas.
