	Description:	Dave uses English hardwoods such as Ash, Oak and Yew, partly because of the beauty of the grain and partly because he can be certain that the timber has been harvested without damaging the environment. Most of his pieces, including bowls spoons and tableware to larger abstract pieces are finished with cooking-oil and beeswax. A very thin application of cooking oil can be used to restore the original colour of the wood.
