Yarner
20 July - 19 August 2012
The year 2012 marks the 60th anniversary of the acquisition of Yarner Wood; Reece Ingram and David Brampton-Green, both sculptors, and Simon Williams, photographer, will work with approximately 300 local schoolchildren, including GCSE and sixth form students, over a period of one-week in June 2012 to produce a selection of 3D pieces, photographs and written work. Inspiration for the workshops will come from the species-rich habitat of Yarner’s rare Western oak woodland. Simon Williams will also show some of his images of Yarner, a place he has been photographing for the last four years.

Lovefactor presents . . .
21 September - 12 Nov 2012
Their third exhibition and the first time this group of artists - five furniture makers and one ceramicist - have exhibited together at the Guild. New work from leading contemporary designer-makers Christian O'Reilly, Paul Anderson, Samuel Walsh and Glenn Rushbrooke & Samantha Robb of pachadesign will sit alongside Sandy Brown’s feisty ceramic vessels. This dynamic mix will seek to put a new slant on the dialogue between maker and viewer initiated at Sandy Brown's Glove Factory Gallery in 2009. A feast of usable and beautiful craftwork.
