Products: we sell beautiful hand-made crafts by our Devon Guild members including Ceramics, Glass, Wood, Jewellery, Textiles and Prints. Also available a range of lovely cards, gifts and books.
Directions: From Torquay town centre, follow the sea front towards Paignton/Torquay. At Livermead House Hotel turn right, signposted “Cockington Country Park”. Follow the lane into the village to the junction. Turn right at the T-Junction, follow road for 50 yards and bear left into Drum Inn. Turn left and go along narrow lane at right side of Drum Inn. 4 August - 10 September: Torbay Makers Showcase
Showcasing makers from the Torquay, Paignton and Brixham areas. On display will be baskets by Hilary Burns, Ceramics by Malcolm Law, Prints by Deborah Treliving,ceramics by Debbie Lewis and textiles by Tatjana Tekkel Peppe.
15 September - 29 October: Winter Warmers
Autumn clothing exhibition featuring clothing and textiles by Trish Coady Clements, Hilary Highet and Caroline Hall.
3 November - 31 December 2012: Silent Night
Our Christmas display will feature work by metal artist James Kendrew and ceramics by Tim Gee and Philippa De Burlet.
About Cockington Court ...
Just a mile from Torquay seafront, historic Cockington Court is nestled within 460 acres of country park and is home to a growing number of skilled craftspeople.
You can watch them as they work and perhaps indulge in a spot of retail therapy in their studios and galleries.More about studios...
Relax afterwards in the Tea Rooms while the kids play in the park, then ride in a horse drawn carriage though the estate back to the idyllic Cockington Village with its picture-postcard cottages and award-winning gardens.
