'Big Hand, Little Hand'  This helps us place artists in schools where children learn about craft and new ways of designing and making. Workshops encourage imagination and ideas in children of all educational backgrounds and help people experience the life-changing power of creating through making. More...

Riverside Mill
'Raise the Roof'  The Guild urgently needs funds to repair the old roof of Riverside Mill as further deterioration will damage our public facilities and threaten access to the craft centre and gallery. We are running regular charity events to aid the appeal.

Making a donation:
By making a donation to The Devon Guild of Craftsmen (Reg. Charity no. 296568) you can help us continue our educational activities in schools. Your donation will be used to help us reach more children and to support our exhibition programme which tours to national venues. Your help will also allow us to support more makers based in the South West and also to help maintain our centre in Bovey Tracey.
You may specify support for our building repairs.

Frank martin and Big Walk
We really appreciate voluntary help at our events, private views and for mail-outs. These occasions are always fun and involve chatting, hot drinks, snacks and making friends as well. Please contact

2010:  Frank Martin's BIG WALK for 'Big Hand, Little Hand'   NOW COMPLETE!

Frank is a Somerset potter and Guild Trustee. He is trekking 630 miles of the South West coastal path for our educational charity. All donations will help Big Hand, Little Hand continue to fund more projects in schools in 2010 and beyond. Your donation will go towards our educational work, helping teach creative skills for the future. So please sponsor Frank!
