The Devon Guild is the South West's largest craft centre with work selected from over 240 designer/makers. The Craft Shop sells the full variety of contemporary crafts by Members of the Devon Guild including furniture, ceramics, sculpture, glass, prints, textiles, clothes, jewellery, wood, metalwork and much more. A consistently high quality is maintained through the selection of members, with both traditional and contemporary work having a common theme of excellence, there is always exciting new work to be seen. The Craft Shop is selected for quality by the Crafts Council and attracts many visitors and collectors.

The ever changing display at the Guild showcases the innovation and accomplishment of South West makers, and gives the opportunity to purchase unique and individual designs and enables the purchase of products that are not mass produced.

There is a commissioning resource available and a wedding list service. The Guild offers interest free loans subject to status. The Shop also hosts the Crafts Councils Photostore, a user-friendly visual database which contains over 40,000 images, a fantastic resource for anyone with an interest in crafts.

The 2004 £1 million refurbishment includes the new Jubilee Gallery, an extended Craft Shop and a refurbished cafe - The Terrace - with rooftop seating overlooking the countryside. There is also better access to facilities - a lift to the first floor, ramped access and better visual/audio interpretation materials.
