Event: A Way In - exploring creativity with Jess Davies - Sun 17 Jun 2018 -Sun 17 Jun 2018

Jubilee gallery, 10.30am-4pm. £50 incl. lunch.

Spend a day extending your creative edges. Workshop devised and facilitated by printmaker, artist and teacher Jess Davies.

Explore ideas, processes and approaches from Anita Reynolds: a Year on Dartmoor and try them out in a range of hands-on tasks and experiments in the gallery. This workshop day is not so much about whether we like or dislike the work on show. It's about trying out different art-based tasks and exercises as a sort of ENQUIRY, to find out more about the ideas and processes which the artists have used. Going a bit deeper into the exhibition in this way hopefully will ignite creative ideas and new responses of our own, enriching our experience."

£50 including lunch.
Advance booking essential on 01626 832223

FEEDBACK (Quotes) from our March workshop:

It was good for me to be a student at a workshop; Jess was a welcoming, enthusiastic, and generous facilitator.
Watching how other people responded to the brief was a reminder of the breadth of people’s experiences and skills. Thanks for a delicious lunch

“I came away lighter; feeling less ‘tied up’ creatively and definitely with a more in-depth understanding and appreciation of the exhibition. It was an excellent day, well led by Jess who challenges and enables in equal measure! I would definitely do another one.”
