Exhibition: Made to Commission - Sat 24 Mar 2018 -Mon 07 May 2018

Jubilee gallery. Open daily, 10am-5.30pm. Free

A Devon Guild of Craftsmen Members exhibition.
A look behind the workshop doors to see how the commissioning process works.  Each selected Guild Member will give an insight into their personal commissioning journey with a selected client.  Actual work, alongside drawings, sketchbooks and digital images will bring to life how they work with their client, solve problems and interpret the brief to mutual success.
A digital presentation of additional Guild Members will be on show, giving an insight into larger site specific commissions for commercial and public projects. Commissioning is another way of buying craft and is something that nearly all our Members would consider. You can commission almost anything and at any budget and our shop team are always available to help with enquires.

We regret we have had to remove Gillie Hoyte Byrom’s enamel miniatures from this exhibition. Photo facsimiles will be available soon but if you are planning a special trip to the Devon Guild to view them we advise calling us before you travel. We apologise for any disappointment caused.
