DGC_Off-the-Surface_exhibition_RSN-student work textile archivesThis exhibition is a collaboration with the Royal School of Needlework (RSN) and inspired by the RSN’s world-renowned Archive Collection which is housed at Hampton Court Palace.

The school’s second year degree students will take influences from this unique source to produce contemporary hand-embroidered work. The exhibition will showcase the art of hand-embroidery, old and new, featuring modern and current pieces from the students, alongside the traditional, inspirational treasures from the collection.

The RSN Degree in Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors and Textile Art  is a full-time, unique course where students Off-the-Surface_exhibition_RSN-degree-studentimmerse themselves in contemporary and traditional hand embroidery practice and explore creative approaches to research.
